Once Upon A Time

 

Once upon a time,

I was lost at Sea My Sea.

I happened upon a staircase

that reached to the stars.

 

The stairs moved like an escalator,

gliding me silently to a spiral land.

As I drew closer, I heard the most beautiful music,

as if all the finest musicians of heaven

had graced this place with melody.

I grew increasingly refreshed and alive.

 

When I stepped onto land,

Shadow My Shadow asked if

I would like to dance,

to which I readily agreed.

We danced and danced

our spiritual spiral dance,

so happy and free that

Sun My Sun felt inclined to join us.

Sun My Sun danced with such joy that

Shadow My Shadow was moved

to shadow tears.

Spring Semester Begins

Once upon a Monday…

Once upon a Monday,

I hit the ground running.

No more weekend fun days,

Stopping in Greyfriar’s Coffee & Tea Co. was part of this weekend’s trip to Chattanooga. Coffee beans under glass on tables – clever. I enjoyed a suuuper smooth breve. I highly recommend it.
